YOU look out the window with a list of jobs to do outside and then the question arises… “What? More rain…?” With that you shrug your shoulders and abandon all hope.
Life provides obstacles to test out our resolve and sometimes your inner self enables you to pluck up courage because without fixing the thing needing fixed, a worst case scenario could unfold.
An example. The dustbin is on it’s side and rubbish is strewed all over the place. Your nice neighbours will chide you behind you back, so out you must go. Mission accomplished and a sense of pride beckons you on to more wet getting as you find other things needing doing, straightening a stick holding up one of the fine specimens of Digitalis or similar and within minutes all manner of stuff is put right. “Well done.” You self aggrandize. “Well done!”
The tests we are set with build us into people with resolve, so spare a thought for the hero’s of the hour. One day you may need one.
